It achieved a price of HKD 113,525.00 (€ 7,369.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Shouzhen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orchid And Stone in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 6,440,000.00 (€ 611,122.55).

Die Arbeit Landscapes And Flowers von Ma Shouzhen kam im April 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 113.525,00 (€ 7.369,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Shouzhen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orchid And Stone im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.440.000,00 (€ 611.122,55).
