Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bamboo And Rock by Ma Shouzhen was auctioned at POLY in May 2018. The price achieved of HKD 9,440.00 (€ 1,031.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Shouzhen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orchid And Stone in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 6,440,000.00 (€ 611,122.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bamboo And Rock von Ma Shouzhen kam im Mai 2018 bei POLY zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 9.440,00 (€ 1.031,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Shouzhen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orchid And Stone im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.440.000,00 (€ 611.122,55).
