Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ink Orchids And Rocks by Ma Shouzhen was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,075.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Shouzhen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orchid And Stone in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 6,440,000.00 (€ 611,122.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ink Orchids And Rocks von Ma Shouzhen kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.075,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Shouzhen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orchid And Stone im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.440.000,00 (€ 611.122,55).
