Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seashore And Lagoon (Set Of Two) by Ma Desheng was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 52,500.00 (€ 5,405.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Desheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work United Symphony in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,040,000.00 (€ 99,493.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seashore And Lagoon (Set Of Two) von Ma Desheng kam im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 52.500,00 (€ 5.405,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Desheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit United Symphony im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.040.000,00 (€ 99.493,05).
