In October 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Moonshine In Forest And Mother Land (Set Of Two) by Ma Desheng. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,721.47), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Desheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work United Symphony in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,040,000.00 (€ 99,493.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Moonshine In Forest And Mother Land (Set Of Two) von Ma Desheng zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.721,47) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Desheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit United Symphony im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.040.000,00 (€ 99.493,05).
