Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Forest I; & Forrest Ii by Ma Desheng was sold in the Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 3,644.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Desheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work United Symphony in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,040,000.00 (€ 99,493.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Forest I; & Forrest Ii von Ma Desheng wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 3.644,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Desheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit United Symphony im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.040.000,00 (€ 99.493,05).
