A top price for Mg Tun Hla - as previously expected
The work The Shwedagon Pagoda by Mg Tun Hla was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 35,700.00 (€ 3,822.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Shwedagon Pagoda is the most expensive artwork by Mg Tun Hla that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit The Shwedagon Pagoda von Mg Tun Hla kam im April 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.700,00 (€ 3.822,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden.
