signed Meixian zi Luo Xuan, inscribed 'album of twelve leaves in imitation of Yuan dynasty artists, in the orchid dew thatched hut', dated xinwei (should be xinhai, 1731) of the Yongzheng reign, summer, with two seals of the artist, luo xuan and lao mei (2)
With two collector's seals of Lü Zaofen, pu shi zhen cang (2), xin an lü zao fen pu shi hao mo jun, and one other collector's seal, dao fu mi wan (2)

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscapes by Luo Xuan was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,639.72). Other works by Luo Xuan have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 105,750.00 (€ 15,075.23) in October 2001 for the work Landscapes After Ancient Masters.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscapes von Luo Xuan wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.639,72) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Luo Xuan haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 105.750,00 (€ 15.075,23) im Oktober 2001 für die Arbeit Landscapes After Ancient Masters beobachtet.
