Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Luo Xuan was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2012. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,778.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Luo Xuan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2001 the work Landscapes After Ancient Masters was auctioned for HKD 105,750.00 (€ 15,075.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Luo Xuan wurde im September 2012 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.778,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Luo Xuan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2001 die Arbeit Landscapes After Ancient Masters für HKD 105.750,00 (€ 15.075,23) versteigert.
