The work Orchid by Luo Pin was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,754.47), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Pin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bamboo And Stone in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 8,050,000.00 (€ 788,005.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Orchid von Luo Pin wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.754,47) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Pin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bamboo And Stone im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.050.000,00 (€ 788.005,01).
