The work Bamboo And Stone by Luo Pin was sold in the Classical Chinese Paintings And Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2013. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 8,050,000.00 (€ 788,005.01), 15% above the upper estimate. With this result, Bamboo And Stone is even the most expensive work of art by Luo Pin that we have observed at auctions so far.
