Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year POLY held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Buddha by Luo Pin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 18,000.00 (€ 2,306.62) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Pin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bamboo And Stone in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 8,050,000.00 (€ 788,005.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Buddha von Luo Pin zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 18.000,00 (€ 2.306,62) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Pin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bamboo And Stone im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.050.000,00 (€ 788.005,01).
