Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Ink Orchids Painted By Finger by Luo Pin. It changed hands for a price of HKD 295,000.00 (€ 34,715.38) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 250,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Pin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bamboo And Stone in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 8,050,000.00 (€ 788,005.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ink Orchids Painted By Finger von Luo Pin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 295.000,00 (€ 34.715,38) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 250.000,00 – 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Pin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bamboo And Stone im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.050.000,00 (€ 788.005,01).
