Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Old Tree by the River by Luo Mu was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,417.34). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Mu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cloudy Mountains in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,880,000.00 (€ 448,735.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Old Tree by the River von Luo Mu wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.417,34) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Mu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cloudy Mountains im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.880.000,00 (€ 448.735,88).
