In November 2006 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Luo Mu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 78,000.00 (€ 7,564.14), 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Mu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cloudy Mountains in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,880,000.00 (€ 448,735.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im November 2006 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Luo Mu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 78.000,00 (€ 7.564,14) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Mu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cloudy Mountains im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.880.000,00 (€ 448.735,88).
