Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Luke Diiorio could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in October 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Unbound: Online Auction auction, the work Two works: (i) Untitled (#3); (ii) Untitled changed hands for USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,129.09) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luke Diiorio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in October 2015 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,867.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luke Diiorio konnte im Oktober 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Unbound: Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit Two works: (i) Untitled (#3); (ii) Untitled für USD 2.375,00 (€ 2.129,09) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Luke Diiorio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.867,97) versteigert wurde.
