Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Phillips in Bidding Closes held the auction Unbound: Online Only, which included the work Untitled (#2) by Luke Diiorio. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,309.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luke Diiorio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in October 2015 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,867.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Phillips in Bidding Closes die Auktion Unbound: Online Only durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (#2) von Luke Diiorio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.309,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Luke Diiorio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.867,97) versteigert wurde.
