Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Luis Caballero could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art Modern & Contemporary auction, the work El Minotaurio changed hands for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,527.42) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luis Caballero - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 21,095.43).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Luis Caballero konnte im November 2014 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
