This artwork by Luis Caballero achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in October last year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Sans Titre (Homme Endormi) - 1986 sold for EUR 4,198.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luis Caballero have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 21,095.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luis Caballero erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre (Homme Endormi) - 1986 für EUR 4.198,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luis Caballero auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 21.095,43).
