Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ecstasy by Luis Caballero was sold in the The Male Form auction at Bonhams in June this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,400.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,408.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luis Caballero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 21,095.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ecstasy von Luis Caballero wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Male Form bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.400,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.408,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luis Caballero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 21.095,43).
