Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Sans Titre by Luigi Boïllé was auctioned at Christies in Paris in December 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,875.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Boïllé achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rosso in June this year with an auction result of EUR 32,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Sans Titre von Luigi Boïllé im Dezember 2014 bei Christies in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luigi Boïllé erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rosso im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 32.000,00.
