Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Courtship by Luigi Bechi was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2006. It changed hands for a price of GBP 24,000.00 (€ 35,640.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luigi Bechi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Playing with the kitten in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 91,750.00 (€ 156,826.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Courtship von Luigi Bechi kam im November 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 24.000,00 (€ 35.640,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luigi Bechi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Playing with the kitten im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.750,00 (€ 156.826,98).
