Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Tending Their Flock by Luigi Bechi for USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,182.26). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & 19th Century European Art, Including Property from The Forbes Collection: The Panorama of Champigny at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Bechi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Playing with the kitten in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 91,750.00 (€ 156,826.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Tending Their Flock von Luigi Bechi für USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.182,26) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art, Including Property from The Forbes Collection: The Panorama of Champigny bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luigi Bechi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Playing with the kitten im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.750,00 (€ 156.826,98).
