This artwork by Luigi Bechi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Rome in November 2002. In the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction, the work Sulla spiaggia sold for EUR 6,448.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Bechi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Playing with the kitten in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 91,750.00 (€ 156,826.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luigi Bechi erzielte im November 2002 bei Christies in Rom einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO wurde die Arbeit Sulla spiaggia für EUR 6.448,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luigi Bechi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Playing with the kitten im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.750,00 (€ 156.826,98).
