Admittedly, works by Luigi Bechi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Playing with the kitten in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 91,750.00 (€ 156,826.98).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 21.558,22) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luigi Bechi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Playing with the kitten im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.750,00 (€ 156.826,98).
