In October 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art, which included the work Cricket Match, Cambridge by Ludovic-Rodo Pissarro. The »bidding war« ended at USD 22,500.00 (€ 17,363.79), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ludovic-Rodo Pissarro; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Café Parisien (Bal Tabarin) sold at auction in June 2011 with the realized price of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,892.07).

Im Oktober 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cricket Match, Cambridge von Ludovic-Rodo Pissarro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 17.363,79) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ludovic-Rodo Pissarro; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Café Parisien (Bal Tabarin) im Juni 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.892,07).
