Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Truo by Lucio Muñoz was sold in the Spanish Art at the Westin Palace Hotel auction at Christies in Madrid in October 2008. The price achieved of EUR 25,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucio Muñoz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tabla azul, which sold at auction in October 2007 for EUR 84,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Truo von Lucio Muñoz wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion Spanish Art at the Westin Palace Hotel bei Christies in Madrid versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 25.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucio Muñoz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tabla azul beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für EUR 84.250,00 versteigert wurde.
