In October 2006 Christies in Madrid held the auction Spanish Sale - Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture from Old Master Pictures to Contemporary Art., which included the work Accidente geométrico by Lucio Muñoz. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 45,600.00 30% above the upper estimate. Other works by Lucio Muñoz have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 84,250.00 in October 2007 for the work Tabla azul.

Im Oktober 2006 führte Christies in Madrid die Auktion Spanish Sale - Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture from Old Master Pictures to Contemporary Art. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Accidente geométrico von Lucio Muñoz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 45.600,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Lucio Muñoz haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.250,00 im Oktober 2007 für die Arbeit Tabla azul beobachtet.
