In October 2006 Christies in Madrid held the auction Spanish Sale - Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture from Old Master Pictures to Contemporary Art., which included the work Accidente geométrico by Lucio Muñoz. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 45,600.00 30% above the upper estimate. Other works by Lucio Muñoz have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 84,250.00 in October 2007 for the work Tabla azul.
