Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2006 Christies in Madrid held the auction Spanish Sale - Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture from Old Master Pictures to Contemporary Art., which included the work Sin título by Lucio Muñoz. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 36,000.00 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucio Muñoz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tabla azul, which sold at auction in October 2007 for EUR 84,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2006 führte Christies in Madrid die Auktion Spanish Sale - Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture from Old Master Pictures to Contemporary Art. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sin título von Lucio Muñoz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 36.000,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucio Muñoz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tabla azul beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für EUR 84.250,00 versteigert wurde.
