Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2005 Christies in Madrid held the auction ARTE ESPANOL, which included the work El ascensorista by Lucio Muñoz. It changed hands for a price of EUR 33,600.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucio Muñoz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tabla azul, which sold at auction in October 2007 for EUR 84,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2005 führte Christies in Madrid die Auktion ARTE ESPANOL durch, in der auch die Arbeit El ascensorista von Lucio Muñoz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 33.600,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucio Muñoz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tabla azul beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für EUR 84.250,00 versteigert wurde.
