Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Place Pigalle by Lucien Génin was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Artcurial in October 2015. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,900.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucien Génin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Moulin du Blute-Fin, Rue Lepic, which sold at auction in May 2007 for USD 14,400.00 (€ 10,703.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Place Pigalle von Lucien Génin wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.900,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucien Génin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Moulin du Blute-Fin, Rue Lepic beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für USD 14.400,00 (€ 10.703,93) versteigert wurde.
