Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work An Interior by Lucie van Dam van Isselt. It changed hands for a price of NLG 4,935.00 (€ 2,371.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of NLG 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucie van Dam van Isselt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Voorjaar - A still life with rhubarb, eggs, flowers and a butterfly, which sold at auction in September 2006 for EUR 7,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Interior von Lucie van Dam van Isselt zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von NLG 4.935,00 (€ 2.371,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von NLG 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucie van Dam van Isselt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Voorjaar - A still life with rhubarb, eggs, flowers and a butterfly beobachtet, die im September 2006 für EUR 7.800,00 versteigert wurde.
