This artwork by Lucie van Dam van Isselt achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Veere - a mantle piece sold for EUR 3,840.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucie van Dam van Isselt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Voorjaar - A still life with rhubarb, eggs, flowers and a butterfly, which sold at auction in September 2006 for EUR 7,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 92 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucie van Dam van Isselt erzielte im Januar 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wurde die Arbeit Veere - a mantle piece für EUR 3.840,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucie van Dam van Isselt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Voorjaar - A still life with rhubarb, eggs, flowers and a butterfly beobachtet, die im September 2006 für EUR 7.800,00 versteigert wurde.
