Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Tralciosigned And Dated 92; Signed, Titled And Dated 92 On The Reverse, Oil On Canvas by Luciano Ventrone was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in May 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 9,375.00. Admittedly, works by Luciano Ventrone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Natura morta in June this year with an auction result of EUR 37,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Tralciosigned And Dated 92; Signed, Titled And Dated 92 On The Reverse, Oil On Canvas von Luciano Ventrone im Mai 2014 bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 9.375,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luciano Ventrone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Natura morta im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.800,00.
