In October 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art including Russian and Latin American Art, which included the work Standing Male Nude, Flexing A Pole by Luciano Miori. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,083.02). With this result, Standing Male Nude, Flexing A Pole is even the most expensive work of art by Luciano Miori that we have observed at auctions so far.
