Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2011 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Ricognizione by Luca Pignatelli. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luca Pignatelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Afroditesigned, Titled And Dated 2007 On The Reverse; Oil On Canvas in May 2013 with an auction result of EUR 39,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2011 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ricognizione von Luca Pignatelli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luca Pignatelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Afroditesigned, Titled And Dated 2007 On The Reverse; Oil On Canvas im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.900,00.
