Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Pictures (Day Sale), which included the work The Rialto Bridge on the Grand Canal, Venice, with the Palazzo dei Camerlenghi by Luca Carlevarijs. The price achieved of GBP 85,250.00 (€ 89,537.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luca Carlevarijs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice: The Rialto Bridge from the North; and The Piazza San Marco in December 2003 with an auction result of GBP 1,125,250.00 (€ 1,593,769.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Pictures (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Rialto Bridge on the Grand Canal, Venice, with the Palazzo dei Camerlenghi von Luca Carlevarijs zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 85.250,00 (€ 89.537,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luca Carlevarijs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venice: The Rialto Bridge from the North; and The Piazza San Marco im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.125.250,00 (€ 1.593.769,19).
