Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work A river landscape with a capriccio view of the Ponte Rotto, figures resting near a shrine in the foreground, a town beyond by Luca Carlevarijs for GBP 100,800.00 (€ 117,603.05). This price was achieved in the auction Remastered: Old Masters from the Collection of J.E. Safra - Selling Without Reserve at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luca Carlevarijs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice: The Rialto Bridge from the North; and The Piazza San Marco in December 2003 with an auction result of GBP 1,125,250.00 (€ 1,593,769.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A river landscape with a capriccio view of the Ponte Rotto, figures resting near a shrine in the foreground, a town beyond von Luca Carlevarijs für GBP 100.800,00 (€ 117.603,05) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Remastered: Old Masters from the Collection of J.E. Safra - Selling Without Reserve bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luca Carlevarijs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venice: The Rialto Bridge from the North; and The Piazza San Marco im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.125.250,00 (€ 1.593.769,19).
