Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work Venice, A View Of A Corner Of St. Mark'S Square, With Peasants And Dogs To The Right And Other Figures, Some In Oriental Dress, To The Left by Luca Carlevarijs. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 73,867.69). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luca Carlevarijs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice: The Rialto Bridge from the North; and The Piazza San Marco in December 2003 with an auction result of GBP 1,125,250.00 (€ 1,593,769.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Venice, A View Of A Corner Of St. Mark'S Square, With Peasants And Dogs To The Right And Other Figures, Some In Oriental Dress, To The Left von Luca Carlevarijs zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 62.500,00 (€ 73.867,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luca Carlevarijs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venice: The Rialto Bridge from the North; and The Piazza San Marco im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.125.250,00 (€ 1.593.769,19).
