Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Luca Carlevarijs; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Venice: The Rialto Bridge from the North; and The Piazza San Marco sold at auction in December 2003 with the realized price of GBP 1,125,250.00 (€ 1,593,769.19).
