Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Luca Carlevarijs could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in January 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Master Paintings: Part I auction, the work River Landscape With A Capriccio View Of The Ponte Rotto, Rome changed hands for USD 557,000.00 (€ 493,356.95) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luca Carlevarijs - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venice: The Rialto Bridge from the North; and The Piazza San Marco, which sold at auction in December 2003 for GBP 1,125,250.00 (€ 1,593,769.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luca Carlevarijs konnte im Januar 2015 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Master Paintings: Part I wechselte die Arbeit River Landscape With A Capriccio View Of The Ponte Rotto, Rome für USD 557.000,00 (€ 493.356,95) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Luca Carlevarijs mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Venice: The Rialto Bridge from the North; and The Piazza San Marco beobachtet, die im Dezember 2003 für GBP 1.125.250,00 (€ 1.593.769,19) versteigert wurde.
