The work River By The Mountain Pass by Lu Xiaoman was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 137,500.00 (€ 16,063.67), 72% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lu Xiaoman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Horses In The Autumn Woods, which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 403,200.00 (€ 43,168.88).

Die Arbeit River By The Mountain Pass von Lu Xiaoman wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 16.063,67) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lu Xiaoman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Horses In The Autumn Woods beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 403.200,00 (€ 43.168,88) versteigert wurde.
