A top price for Lu Xiaoman
When the work Horses In The Autumn Woods by Lu Xiaoman was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 90,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than four times as high at HKD 403,200.00 (€ 43,168.88). This high result makes Horses In The Autumn Woods the most expensive artwork by Lu Xiaoman that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Lu Xiaoman
Als die Arbeit Horses In The Autumn Woods von Lu Xiaoman im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – HKD 90.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit HKD 403.200,00 (€ 43.168,88) mehr als viermal so hoch.
