The work Buddha by Lu Xiaoman was auctioned at POLY in October last year. It achieved a price of HKD 72,000.00 (€ 9,226.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. Admittedly, works by Lu Xiaoman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Horses In The Autumn Woods in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 403,200.00 (€ 43,168.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Buddha von Lu Xiaoman kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei POLY zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 72.000,00 (€ 9.226,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Xiaoman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Horses In The Autumn Woods im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 403.200,00 (€ 43.168,88).
