Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lu Xiaoman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Birds And Bamboo Leaves sold for HKD 378,000.00 (€ 41,866.58) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lu Xiaoman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Horses In The Autumn Woods sold at auction in April 2021 with the realized price of HKD 403,200.00 (€ 43,168.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lu Xiaoman erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Birds And Bamboo Leaves für HKD 378.000,00 (€ 41.866,58) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lu Xiaoman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Horses In The Autumn Woods im April 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 403.200,00 (€ 43.168,88).
