Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Book Of Humanity by Lü Shengzhong was sold in the Chinese and Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2014. The price achieved of HKD 566,400.00 (€ 52,678.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 480,000.00 – 600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lü Shengzhong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Magic And Acrobatics (Four Works), which sold at auction in October 2011 for HKD 1,220,000.00 (€ 112,666.52).

Die Arbeit The Book Of Humanity von Lü Shengzhong wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern & Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 566.400,00 (€ 52.678,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 480.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lü Shengzhong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Magic And Acrobatics (Four Works) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2011 für HKD 1.220.000,00 (€ 112.666,52) versteigert wurde.
