Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Customs in Shaanbei by Lü Shengzhong. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,194.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lü Shengzhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Magic And Acrobatics (Four Works) in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,220,000.00 (€ 112,666.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Customs in Shaanbei von Lü Shengzhong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.194,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lü Shengzhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Magic And Acrobatics (Four Works) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.220.000,00 (€ 112.666,52).
