Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2003 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART, which included the work Shenbei Folk Custom by Lü Shengzhong. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 60,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 71,700.00 (€ 7,948.82) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lü Shengzhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Magic And Acrobatics (Four Works) in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,220,000.00 (€ 112,666.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2003 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Shenbei Folk Custom von Lü Shengzhong zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 71.700,00 (€ 7.948,82) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lü Shengzhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Magic And Acrobatics (Four Works) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.220.000,00 (€ 112.666,52).
