The work Eagle by Lu Qingyuan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 15,626.01), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Lu Qingyuan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December last year the work Peacock and Azaleas was auctioned for HKD 226,800.00 (€ 27,178.69).

Die Arbeit Eagle von Lu Qingyuan kam im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 15.626,01) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Lu Qingyuan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres die Arbeit Peacock and Azaleas für HKD 226.800,00 (€ 27.178,69) versteigert.
