A top price for Lu Ming-Te
The work Spring Celebration by Lu Ming-Te was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2010. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 300,000.00 (€ 27,853.75), 50% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Spring Celebration the most expensive artwork by Lu Ming-Te that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Spring Celebration von Lu Ming-Te wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 27.853,75) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Spring Celebration zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Lu Ming-Te, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
